  • Hand Therapy is the practice of assessment and rehabilitation of the hand and upper limb, specifically involving the elbow, forearm, wrist, hand, fingers and thumb.
  • Hand Therapist's have specific training and assessing, diagnosing and splinting upper extremity conditions resulting from trauma, disease (e.g. arthritis) or a disorder (e.g. carpal tunnel syndrome).
  • Sara Lister is a registered Hand Therapist, and a member of the New Zealand Association of Hand Therapists (HTNZ). Tyler Pereira is a Hand Therapist and an associate Member of the New Zealand Associate of Hand Therapists (HTNZ).

ACC can cover you for accidental injuries from the elbow to the finger tips. Sara Lister & Tyler Pereira are the only Timaru Hand Therapists in a private practice who can offer:
